Le Minist\u00e8re s\u2019active pour s\u00e9curiser le r\u00e9seau routier<\/strong><\/p>\n

Qu\u00e9bec, le 21 f\u00e9vrier 2022. \u2013 Des avertissements de temp\u00eate hivernale et de pluie vergla\u00e7ante sont pr\u00e9sentement en vigueur sur plusieurs r\u00e9gions du Qu\u00e9bec. Selon ces avertissements, les intemp\u00e9ries devraient d\u00e9buter \u00e0 partir de la nuit prochaine. Par cons\u00e9quent, le minist\u00e8re des Transports recommande fortement aux usagers de la route de pr\u00e9voir leurs d\u00e9placements pour les journ\u00e9es de mardi et de mercredi. Les fortes pr\u00e9cipitations de neige attendues, coupl\u00e9es \u00e0 des vents importants et suivies d\u2019\u00e9pisodes de pluie vergla\u00e7ante dont les quantit\u00e9s seront importantes, auront une incidence sur les d\u00e9placements, puisque plusieurs axes routiers seront touch\u00e9s. Dans ce contexte, les conditions routi\u00e8res pourraient varier tr\u00e8s rapidement, ce qui n\u00e9cessitera une vigilance accrue de la part des automobilistes.<\/p>\n

Le Minist\u00e8re assurera les op\u00e9rations d\u2019entretien et de d\u00e9gla\u00e7age requises afin de s\u00e9curiser le r\u00e9seau routier et de minimiser les cons\u00e9quences sur les d\u00e9placements. Ainsi, ces op\u00e9rations seront adapt\u00e9es en fonction de la nature et de l\u2019intensit\u00e9 des pr\u00e9cipitations, le tout au moyen de fondants ou d\u2019abrasifs.<\/p>\n

Les usagers de la route devront faire preuve d\u2019une grande prudence et adapter leur conduite. Le Minist\u00e8re leur rappelle l\u2019importance de s\u2019informer de l\u2019\u00e9tat des routes sur les diff\u00e9rentes plateformes de Qu\u00e9bec 511 (Web, application mobile, t\u00e9l\u00e9phone) et de planifier leurs d\u00e9placements.<\/p>\n

Quelques conseils aux usagers<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Allumez vos phares et soyez visibles.
\n\u2022 D\u00e9glacez enti\u00e8rement votre voiture en faisant une inspection compl\u00e8te des vitres, des r\u00e9troviseurs, du toit, du capot, des phares et de la plaque d\u2019immatriculation.
\n\u2022 Assurez-vous que votre voiture est bien pr\u00e9par\u00e9e \u00e0 affronter les rigueurs de la saison froide, par exemple en v\u00e9rifiant que le niveau d\u2019antigel de lave-glace est suffisant.
\n\u2022 Faites preuve de patience en pr\u00e9sence des v\u00e9hicules d\u2019entretien hivernal : il faut se m\u00e9fier de leurs angles morts!<\/p>\n

Faits saillants<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Le Minist\u00e8re est responsable de l\u2019entretien de plus de 32 000 kilom\u00e8tres de routes.
\n\u2022 Cet hiver, le Minist\u00e8re investira pr\u00e8s de 340 millions de dollars pour les op\u00e9rations d\u2019entretien hivernal.
\n\u2022 Au total, plus de 1 700 camions sont affect\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019entretien hivernal du r\u00e9seau du Minist\u00e8re.
\n\u2022 Chaque hiver, le Minist\u00e8re utilise environ 800 000 tonnes de sels et 1 100 000 tonnes d\u2019abrasifs afin d\u2019assurer des d\u00e9placements s\u00e9curitaires.<\/p>\n
